Pleasant Experience twice a year at LBI

Panoramic view, clean, comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen including washer/dryer, 2 decks, outside shower, house is oceanfront. Sunrise on oceanfront deck and sunset on City side deck. What more can you ask for? My niece and I love our weeks in May and October.

The Perfect LBI Vacation

We've been coming to LBI for years and have stayed at a variety of rental properties - Ocean View is at the top of our list. MaryEllen and Roger were wonderfully helpful and easy to reach. They have clearly put a lot of thought and consideration into making this a great rental experience. The house is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, well organized and has so many considerate details (a well provisioned kitchen, games and beach toys for the kids, TV in the main room and bedrooms, washer/dryer, coffee maker and many more). And access to the beach is extremely easy - you can see and hear the beach from the house - the view is amazing. Since we were traveling with kids, the ability to run back and forth for bathroom breaks & snacks made this a really lovely beach vacation for all. We can't wait to come back next year!

Stupendous!

I was lucky enough to stay at this beautifully situated and appointed duplex with stupendous views in May. I was expecting great things based on the location, but the details, amenities and décor of the place blew past my expectations! From the beachy décor, airy layout and considerate details of a binder of menus, easy labeled wifi/TV codes, extra dish soap and paper goods, I really felt like I was staying in the home of my dreams. The owners were wonderful to deal with and were considerate before, during and after my stay. I needed nothing but would not have hesitated to reach out at any time as they were so responsive. The location is ideal and was a great place to work and relax – mostly relax! I look forward to a return visit.

Always a Great Week at Ocean View on LBI

We have rented the second floor of Ocean View many times in the last few years and have always loved our stay there. The view from the deck is panoramic--you are getting an unobstructed view of the beach in front, up north and down south. The living room and the master bedroom have the same view. Sunrise is a treat whether sipping coffee on the deck or lying in bed! In addition to the master bathroom, the two rear bedrooms have a bathroom between them, making it very convenient for family or friends to visit. The back deck has a grouping of chairs from which you see the sunset bayside. The kitchen is well-equipped; the bedrooms, as well as the living room, have televisions; there is a garage with some beach gear and a nice parking area done with pavers. Ocean View is immaculate inside and out. The owners are very nice people who are proud of their property and dedicated to renters having a worry-free and enjoyable stay--oceanfront!.

 

 

LBI 2020 - an excellent choice

This is a beautiful, comfortable, peaceful home away from home. This home has everything you could possibly want. It is beautifully decorated with very comfortable couches and beds. Even though it’s a shared property I never heard the family downstairs, very quiet. The nice sized deck overlooks the beach and is perfect for sunning in the day and dinner at night. I was so glad to have the two bathrooms. It was perfect. LBI has the most beautiful beaches and crystal clear water and Ocean View has the best views of them. Every morning the most spectacular sunrises and it’s so easy to go down to the water for a swim after a bicycle ride around the neighborhood. Just loved this vacation! An excellent choice!

    

    

Perfect Week!

Thank you to Roger and Mary-Ellen! We found this gem completely by chance after our other rental was canceled due to the COVID situation. The upper level of the duplex is beautifully decorated and comes with everything you need. Of course, who could beat sunrise over the ocean from the East deck and sunset while you’re grilling dinner or having drinks on the west deck? The homeowners made us feel comfortable about the cleaning and safety protocols they were taking and unlike other rentals didn’t charge extra for it.
From the moment I reached out to inquire about availability, I felt like my family was their guest. Including those little household extras along with enough beach chairs (and good ones!) for everyone in our group added to that overall experience. We had a wonderful week and are looking forward to next year!

ANOTHER WONDERFUL STAY AT OCEANVIEW

This was our second-year vacationing at Oceanview and what a wonderful time we had. Mary-Ellen and Roger thought of everything during these covid times from disinfecting the house, changing the AC filter to wrapped bed linings with our names on them. She even text me that the house was ready early. Not too many owners would do that. Every year, we eat out for all our meals, but this year, with covid, we decided to cook in and do take out. It was nice to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner on the patio overlooking the ocean. Our stay was perfect except for tropical storm Isbelle. This was our first tropical storm we experienced. The day started out cloudy. Then around 10 am the rain and wind started. By 11am the storm was in full force. Then around 11:30 we lost power. By early afternoon, the sun was out but still windy. We also took a walk on the beach. We ventured out to buy food and candles for the night but could only find box and can foods. By the next day we also lost all the food in the refrigerator leaving us wondering if we should cut our vacation short. In speaking with Mary-Ellen many times, she talked us into sticking it out and I am so glad she did. The power was restored by Wednesday afternoon and the next few days were perfect, sunny, and warm. All in all, this was another Great Vacation stay at Oceanview and we look so forward to vacationing at Oceanview next year. Mary-Ellen, the New Floors look Great! A special thanks to Mary-Ellen and Roger for thinking of everything and talking us into staying. See you next year!

Wonderful Oceanfront Home

We spent a terrific week at LBI Oceanview. We stayed in the upper floor unit and had unsurpassed views of the beach and ocean. In these days of pandemic, it was great to have a home where we could eat all of our meals at the house and not venture out. The kitchen is well equipped and with that great location, you never felt like you were being denied a good meal with great atmosphere, This was particularly true when dining on the oceanfront deck. LBI Oceanview is in excellent condition with comfortable furniture and bedding. We had a wonderful time, being isolated together and will be back again. Thank you Mary-Ellen and Roger for allowing us to stay in your beautiful beach home.

Fabulous Stay at Ocean View!

This was our first stay at Ocean View. I was looking for a getaway early in the season with my mother. We loved every minute. The views from the living room, master bedroom and deck are stunning and the house is well equipped, including beach chairs and umbrellas. Easy on and off the beach. Super clean. I wish I could have stayed longer. We can’t wait to come back and I hope to also come back with my husband and children.
