We spent the weekend before Christmas at the house with our friends. We've decided it should be an annual event. The weather was perfect--crisp but not too cold and the winds were not bad at all. Roger put out some lights to add to the festivities. I've added some winter shots of the beach as well. It is so different here in the winter... quiet, peaceful and truly beautiful. Other than some fisherman and a few walkers, the beach was empty.
We are looking forward to spring and are anxious to hear what you think of our new floors. We had all the carpeting removed and the ceramic from the kitchen area as well and installed vinyl plank flooring throughout. We love how clean it looks, and hope you all will agree.
The house is nearly booked for next season -- many of you booked on your way out and a few of you added on an extra week. We thank you all for you warm and wonderful comments in our guest books. You cannot imagine how wonderful those books are to read. It reminds us of how many terrific people we have met either in person, by email or phone during our last two seasons. We hope to meet all of you at some point so we can thank you in person for your kind words and excellent care of our home. It means a lot to us. Thank you and happy and healthy new year to you all. Here's hoping that spring comes early!
